FUEL FILTER ... 06 V6

so i like to do work myself and i dont like to pay extra when i dont need to ... thus getting my oil changed and them recommending to change my WIPERS for $30 for parts and labor...I mean am I stupid...lets go to walmart and get new ones for under $10 INSTALLED. so FUEL FILTER is my new project ... no idea what I am doing but I am more than willing to give it a shot...i did a little research and need some direction...my horse has 47k miles and probably could benefit from a change...how do i do this...i found these forums so far :

Hey bro I did it myself took 5 minutes you need it up on jackstands and the tools listed above unsnap the black plastic covering it after unbolting the 10mm bolts then just unsnap the old filter and snap in the new one. Pretty easy and my old filter leaked the most disgusting brown stuff you could ever imagine when I turned it upside down. Also I've been averaging almost 1 more mpg since the filter and I haven't changed anything else in the way I drive since doing it so if you drive a lot that alone is worth doing this

Seems simple enough... mainly comes down to having that special tool for releasing the line

Dont need it...just a green clip...like the hose coming from the block to the air hose by the throttle body...real easy!
