how do you remove the lights behind the rear wheels? do i have to take off the rear panel?

you mean the rear corner markers. just use a screwdriver to wedge it out. its very easy. no need to take any parts off

he was right thanks for the help just installed clears in about 45 sec...real easy...(tip) just wrap the screwdriver in a microfiber cloth so you dont scratch paint
