Ok so i was just driving and i clicked the next button on my shakker 500 and the sound went away and my windows wont work now?? the windows go up and down when you open and shut the doors but wont roll down. I checked all the fuses every single one and they all fine. Anyone have any ideas on what to do or check??

 

That happened to me a couple times too, everything just started working again a couple hours later. If you can't find anything wrong try and wait it out and see if it starts working again.

 

is it still like that? did it go away if u turn ur car off and on? maybe disconnect the battery and let sit for a few min the hook everything up again? just an idea...

 

i tried all that and its been three days and it still isn't working wasn't there some sort of leak on the inside fuse box where was that at so I can check that but i don't know what else to check????

 

If you are still under warranty, take it to the dealer. I know there have been problems with the Shaker 500 itself. Never experience what you are talking about.

 

yeah, definitely take it in. that sounds like a defect.

 

i was actually driving down the interstate the other day when my shaker 500 sounded like it skipped on my cd and then went to the fm radio and was stuck on one station no sound, couldnt even change my stations and when i pressed cd it would say it was playing but no volume. So i stopped at a gas station turned my car off for about five minutes opened the door turned it back on and it seemed to be fine... just happened the other day again.

 

the shaker 500 (aka skipper500) has always had problems from the get go mine freeezed ALL the time

 

Something similar happened to me on my 2005 Mustang. After a few days my car wouldnt start! I took it in the dealership and it turned out my alternator was going out. I had my alternator go out twice on my when i had my 2005.

 

thats a Skipper 500 problem. Those HU's just plain old suck.
