Have you? Check it out and let me know if that 1" drop feels any better.

So wait. You drilled holes into your center console just to hold a cup holder?

OP, you seriously could have just made a cylindrical spacer to go in your more rearward cup holder so your slimmer bottles wouldn't fall around. With the insert removed, you would easily clear the top of the bottle.

LOL. Funny thought. The OP's pictures of how grueling it is to reach over a bottle remind me of those infomercials on TV. The one's that make it look so hard to strain pasta without spilling it all down the drain trying to sell you their special pasta strainer for $19.95

you could have used velcro on the side of your console to hold the cup holder

or just slid a clip under the shifter leather thing

The $250.00 is expensive, but it's a custom job. If it were mass produced with injection molding or CNC'd out of aluminum it'd likely be around $40-$50. Until I get outta college I won't be able to afford such investments.

So wait, are you being serious or joking? By road soda, I hope you mean soda pop. I'm 110% against drinking and driving.

Joking. I'm also 110% against drinking and driving. I'll have a few before hand, and then drive.
