Default How often JLT filter

How often do you clean the JLT cai filter? Will the K& N stuff from the local parts store do the task?

yea the K&N cleaner from the autostore works just fine, when i emailed JLT about how often to clean the filter, they told me when "most of the red wasnt visable anymore on the filter" was their response.

I do mine every time I change my oil which is every 3,333 miles. I have a gravel driveway and there is a lot of construction where I live, so I get a lot of dust on my filter. Cleaning it often wont hurt it and it doesnt take long to do. I also use the K&N cleaner kit.

I cleaned mine the first time @ 18K.
Am due again, have 36K on mine now.
Depends on your driving conditions.
Used the K&N cleaning kit on mine as well.
