Default Dream Stang???

Just curious...

If you could have everything you want for your Stang, what would you do?

Starting Base from a V6 or GT (either one, don't start on a GT500...)

Moneys not an issue AT ALL...

Please separate it into Performance, Appearance, and Interior.

So let's let those imaginations run...

if you are talking pre s197 then a 68 kr convert or a 66 gt350r. s197+ then 3.4 whipple on a built 5.4 with the gt500kr looks.

4.3 stroker kit w/fully built internals
turbonetics kit when it comes out 22+psi of boost
TR6060 tranny cryo internals
carbon fiber or 3.5" alum driveshaft
Grigg's full front&rear suspension kits
alum flywheel
carbon/carbon spec clutch
TSW Jarama black faced staggered 20's
Baer rear brake kit
spoiler delete
twist lock hood pins
APR widebody kit when it comes out because hell it may only be a six but with all of the above and 22+psi along with a good shoe it would be a damn fast hot looking six

Start with a GT...

Appearance:
-GT500 front end conversion
-GT/CS rear bumper with the diffuser done in CF
-GT500 CF hood
-KR CF side skirts
-KR CF lip
-Seibon CF fenders
-Seibon CF doors
-Seibon CF trunk
-CF roof
-CF GT500 spoiler
-Agent 47 NACA rear quarter window ducts
-Antenna delete
-Weds Sport CF rims (these are 6 pounds a piece and $4K per rim )

NOTE: I'm sure all of the CF sounds cheesy and ricer as hell, BUT it will all be painted the classic shelby blue used on the old cobras (but more of a candy), but with racing striped taped off so that they are not painted, but instead exposed carbon fiber, same with some lower side stripes. it will all have multiple clear coats to protect it all. the wheels and stripes will all match and hopefully not look overdone. plus, the weight savings will be fantastic.

Engine Performance:
-Forged internals
-Garrett or STS Twin Turbo kit
-Tremec T-56 conversion
-1 piece CF DS
-Kooks LT's w/ catted H-pipe and custom mid-mounted corsa mufflers
-Meziere EH2O Pump
-upgraded radiator
-Dual GT fuel pump system
-Braille CF battery
-Fire suppression system
-anything i may have overlooked to make everything run well. I don't want to run insane power, not much over 500rwhp, just want it to reliably make that power.

NOTE: The TT system places the turbos at the rear of the car. The kits have intake cone filters in the back where the turbos are. There will be custom housing made to enclose those cone filters and ducting will be run from the NACA quarter window ducts to the air intakes on the turbos creating a ram air for each turbo.

Handling Performance:
-Tein Flex Coilovers w/ EDFC and custom mount in an enclosure in the valley on top of the dash
-Steeda Watts Link
-Steeda Competition adjustable 3rd link
-BMR rod end adj LCA's
-Steeda competition rear sway bar with billet endlinks
-Steeda front sway bar
-Agent 47 Double A-Arm front suspension
-MM Camber Plates
-Brembo BBK
-Custom Brake ducting from foglight holes for front
-again, any other miscelaneous items i forgot

Interior:
-CF center console
-rear seat delete
-full cage
-racing seats and 6 point harnesses
-push button starter in place of power point
-racing wheel w/ flat bottom and kidney grips
-Fire suppression system
-Rear seat delete
-full interior done in leather/CF/alcantara/body matched painted pieces

Engine Dress-Up:
-CF radiator cover
-CF plenum
-Wrinkle Blue valve covers
-other miscellaneous dress-up bits

Summary: SEMA show car quality, without the cheesiness. something very driveable as a daily, but will still DOMINATE on a road course.
