I just got back form the movie theater that aired the Speed channels presentation of tthe 2010 Mustang to the world. I thought the show was real good and tasteful and the new mustang IMO should be a hit with mustang fans that like a refined look of the old body style (S197) and the options that I know many of you really wanted like a truck release button, dual zone climate control, Navigation w/ rear view camera (option). HID's, etc. The GT premium has many option packages and I will scan the brochure for the 2010 stang and have some photos of the 1/18 scale model in candy red metallic and we rec'd a mustang t-shirt as well. The presentation was an hour long on the speed channel like many maybe watching right now or just finishing up soon...
pics very soon!
Ok scanner sucks but you should get the idea!

Pics of the die cast replica- not exact but gives an idea
its a secret!

Tried flipping some images but dont feel like rescanning it again.....you get the idea!

I'm watching it right now on Tivo.
It's a bit of a commercial for Ford (or SpeedTV), but hey, they need to do whatever they can with their stock at $1.67!
It's a little based on the past for most of the show. They are building on their heritage, which is the greatest of the big 3. But they tell and show very little about the new Mustang. Maybe a total of 10 minutes!
All those champion racers were there. But they can't talk about the past when it comes to selling today's cars. They were talking about past races and all... why? They ask the drifter who tore into the hanger doing incredible drifting what hey thought about the other drivers. Little about what hey thought about the actual car.
They seem to be describing it as an all new car, which it isn't.
They talk about Bullitt-based powertrain improvements, yet don't tell us if it gets the suspension and brakes of the new Bullitt.
But they do mention the important power package options which buyers can get to have a 400 or 500 hp Mustang.
Another car is going to be debuted in January... will it be the Boss or the new V-6?
Deliveries for the 2010 will be in March.
After seeing the show I'm still leaning towards the Grabber blue!

V6 front end looks nice but I still prefer the GT's. Thanks for the scans, btw.
Sorry they suck but you get the idea..... the V6 front end looks similar to the concept GT or the GT500 IMO it has some styling cues from them.

I saw the telecast in phoenix. If you saw the guy during the commercials that was waving and occasionally standing up he was a member of our club. We recognized him and somebody called him and told him to say hello, we knew it was live.
The collectible car is cool as heck. The metalic paint looks great!

it was funny as I was just telling my buddy that he was invited to come out there and bring his 79 shelby to display and then there he was. He was also behind the kid that won the 2010 mustang so he will be on the speed show.
Is the tide gonna reach my chair?

I agree with you. Fogs on the lower grill would have looked better.Originally Posted by mygt500
