Yea ive never really had the problem before, we did have a sudden change in temperature though, last week it was like 65 and 2 days ago we had flurries all day. Dont know if that would cause anything at all. Also sometime last week i noticed that there was a strain for it to start, when i got in and turned the key it took a little longer than normal to turn over, and it was not the first time I was starting it that day, I had been running it repeatedly that day. It happened once or twice and i kind of just brushed it off. Maybe i should look into that.....

Ok so heres an update on my problem, I got the car running. I dont really know what happened, when i came home from work last night, I got in the car, deactivated the alarm using the valet button, and connected the battery. Once i got the battery connected i turned the key and it started right up. No idea what happened at all.

Now i have another issue, every time i get into my car, the window drops down to allow me to open the door, but then will not go back up once i get in or out. The window will raise if i put it up using the button in the car, but it will not raise automatically when I get in or out. How can i fix this? Any ideas?

Instructions for recalibrating the window are in your owner's manual. If I recall, you press and hold down the down button until the window is all the way down, then you keep holding the button for two seconds. Then you roll the window up, and keep holding the up button for another two seconds. I do this every few weeks or so after I vacuum the car. It only takes a couple of seconds and I never have to think about it.

Quick question. Does your alarm system have an ignition cut-off function? If so, I wonder if it got a little hinky and caused your problems.

I had the same window problem on the passenger side. I had to replace a regulator in there in addition to resetting it. But now the window doesn't roll up all the way. It's down like a very small amount which causes wind noise (but water doesn't seem to come in).

I guess I need to reset it again.
