what is the difference between the blue 9mm and the red 8mm cables, can anyone explaain

 

The blue one is 1mm bigger

 

Thicker insulation. That's it. More of a huge marketing gimick than anything else. I assume you are talking about ignition wires? If so, the GT hasn't got any. The GT has a coil on plug setup and had no conventional iginiton cables. The V6 however does. If your stick ignition wires are in good shape you will see no difference by "upgrading" the ignition wires. Your moeny is better spent elsewhere.

I'd say go with whatever one matches your car's color.

 

Everyone knows that blue is good for 5hp over red!

so, do they or do they not add hp and does it matter about brand, would you guys not reccomend goint to pep boys and buying plugs

 

I dont see how getting thicker wires(or insulation) will give you HP.. the spark and timing will be the same.. if you were going to get better plugs and msd or something else like that then yes.. other then that I would say not to waste your $$.

 

what plugs would you suggest lost soul, i do want red to macth engine bay, but if i could add a few hp at the same time
