Thicker insulation. That's it. More of a huge marketing gimick than anything else. I assume you are talking about ignition wires? If so, the GT hasn't got any. The GT has a coil on plug setup and had no conventional iginiton cables. The V6 however does. If your stick ignition wires are in good shape you will see no difference by "upgrading" the ignition wires. Your moeny is better spent elsewhere.

I dont see how getting thicker wires(or insulation) will give you HP.. the spark and timing will be the same.. if you were going to get better plugs and msd or something else like that then yes.. other then that I would say not to waste your $$.
