Default AeroForce Interceptor vacuum?

To those who have these gauges...

Where in the heck is the option to view vacuum? I see boost but when I select that, it gives me a constant number of like 400-something. I thought that option would show vacuum or boost, depending on what's going on. I guess not.

did you buy the boost 3 bar sensor? if not than you won't be able to read boost or vacuum. on mine I bought the gauge and the senor, and you have to "T" off of a vacuum line and wire up the sensor to a 5v source inside the car. also you will have to select it as analog1 since you will be plugging the sensor into the analog port on the back of the gauge. once you select analog one it gives you a list of what to name the analog. things like boost/vac, nitrous press., air to fuel....ect.

if you have anymore questions just let me know

Yeah the aeroforce is not mustang specific so it has alot of fields that dont actually show anything relevant because the ECM does not read that data, but some other car might. For boost that would be a F250 diesel or something etc.

IMO I would get a mechanical boost gauge.

They read faster and they are cheap.

I see. I did not get the 3 bar. No wonder the boost option shows weird things.

i love my mechanical boost gauge, but since
you might be trying to keep gauges down
to a minimum, get the sensor and join the
vacuum crew

there's a very fine line between
vacuum and boost, so really both
crews deserve our respect
