anyone know how to remove 3rd brake light as i am trying to tint it. thanks in advance

 

I think it pops out like the side markers. you may have to take that plastic cover off the inside of the trunk, though. I'm not completely sure.

yep, you need to open the trunk and remove the black shroud covering that area and you will see what you need to do....unplud the power wire and depress the clips and it just popr right out....its even easier to replace lol....

if you are tinting, do you mean applying window tint onto it for do you mean painting it?...i was just asking because i used window tint on mine and it was absolutely hideous with bubbles all around where the words are embosed at the bottom of the light...cant get rid of it......i ended up just painting it with clearcoat mixed with black paint....looks awesome now!

 

im using the vht nightshades i have already done the side markers and it came out really good so im going to do the 3rd brake and the tails. and thank you for those who replied with the solution
