Default Cat replacement only?

Has anyone replaced their factory cats with either of these? I have stock exhaust with Pypes violators.

Think I can gain any HP with these? Make the car louder?

i think the gains would be miniamal at best. the factory cats should be good to 400hp is what i heard. i think your money would be better spent on say CMDV or custom tune or electric water pump or even shorties

I had axle-backs before I had high flow cats and there is no power difference and maybe a little bit more of a volume increase but nothing to be excited about.

Dyno tests around here have shown modifying the exhaust doesn't do much for the mustang in the power dept.

The difference between cats and no cats is night and day sound wise but not power wise.

If you want a drastic sound change, gut or remove the cats.

I have some videos of my car with hooker mufflers and my high flow cats along with my friends Blue GT with no cats and JBA exhaust. Check it out.

AND DON'T MAKE FUN OF MY DRIVING!

Hey Livernois Motorsports is selling a BBK Catted X-Pipe for $329. If you really want to check it out the combo of the x and the high flows might be enough for you.

I don't think you'll see a big power gain. Was running the stock manifold and cat's when I had the Paxton installed. Numbers are in my sig.
