just out of curiosity whats the cost of installing gears. i was thinking about swapping out my gears but i dont want to go buy them and then have a ridiculous install bill

yeah thats too pricey for me right now. i dont see how 3.55 to 4.10 can be worth the 500 i would end up spending. too bad that isnt a mod i can do on my own. maybe i should try and if i do a good job i could do it for everyone else for less money

$350 is actually cheaper than i got quoted. $500 in my area just for the install.

here is an article i found if you were going to do it yourself. it might be helpful. this person did a 4.10 instal by himself. i thought i would share.

i was quoted $300 for install on my 02, i believe thats about what i paid for my camaro as well

$300 - 350 is the average install price in my area. I am mechanically inclined and wouldn't tackle that one myself.

as some of the others have said, that's actually a very decent price. I know of some other performance shops that charge up to around $500-$550 for just the labor. this is one upgrade that I definitely wouldn't go "cheap" on
