Default First Mustang

Well today i purchased my first mustang its an 05 Gt with about 8000 miles it came with a K&N cold air intake, Flowmaster exaust and a sct preformance 93 octane tune. I payed 16,500 for it. I think that this was a good deal. I'm picking it up next weekend and I was just wondering if there is anything I should know before taking it on the 2 hour drive home.

Moved to this section and you should have no issues with the car just make sure it is full of gas. There are many TSB's on the car and hopefully someone can provide a link for you to see. Considering the miles on the car I am sure it was babied and pampered and well just not driven much...... Make sure you change the oil and top off the fluids and check the tire pressures (unless its a dealer lot car and/or can prove this was all done recently-receipt for oil or from an oil change business)

Still remember driving mine home from the dealership. It was the car I was not used to at that time, but I was flying on the freeway like I owned it for yours and did not feel tense at all opposed to my previous cars. Just inspect the car when you pick it up and make sure there's no scratches added to it, because ish happens at the dealerships and you won't be able to prove anything after you leave and be easy on that throttle lol

First off...pics or it didn't happen..... (just teasing!! We want to see it!!)

Secondly....get that K&N off of it when you get it home....get a JLT on it......then contact Bama for some custom tunes.

Congrats...sounds like you did great!
