Default Shorty Antenna

I just received my shorty antenna today from over your side of the pond - its I think 14 inches long.....it works perfectly and picks up all radio stations just as the longer one did......thought I would tell you how it worked as a few people on this forum have said the 14 inch antenna wont work very well - which is wrong advice!

Still would like an electric antenna but havent seen any yet.....if anyone else has seen one then let me know, thanks.

Nick

14" is still long to me. I have like a 5-6" one on there and I never have had a problem getting stations. I use my iPod 99.9% of the time anyways, and since the radio doesn't pick up the Euro stations (even numbers) It doesn't bother me at all.... But yeah 5-6" looks nice and out of the way. I will get pics today maybe...

The 2005s seem to be better about the ugly antenna. I ripped mine off of my 98 and haven't had any problems.
