Default Header question..

I have been looking into possibly getting headers to increase my power and give the car a better sound BUT I am looking for something CA legal for sure because I hear there a REAL pain to take off/on and I only want to have to do it once I found some made by Hookers that are 50 State legal apparently which sound great has anyone heard of them and/or used them? I also saw BBK Chrome Tuned Length Shorty Headers on AmericanMuscle but i dont know if they are CA legal for smog.... any help would be awesome thanks all!

The shorties will make you sound faster, but the actual gain in power will be negligible. Even long tubes will only net you about 10 HP with a proper tune, but they do sound great.

They are a little difficult because you have to lift the engine slightly and spaces are tight...
