Default Leaking Windshield Washer Sprayer

I have an '05 Mustang Convertible, and I just wanted to see if anyone else is having the same issue I just noticed on my car. The passenger side Windshield Washer Sprayer tends to start to leak onto the hood after I use them to wash the windshield. After the system stops running the sprayers and the blades stop moving, I have noticed while stuck in traffic that the sprayer started to slowly leak water onto the hood and cause an unsightly water line across the hood. Now that I've said that in 2 different ways, is anyone else having this issue? And has anyone had their dealership fix it, or done anything about it themselves?

Thanks

Can't say that I have had that problem... maybe because I've never used the windshield washers yet. Those things make more mess than they clean. IMO.

Sounds like it might have a bad check valve or something...just a guess.

I have only used the washers only once when my windows were real crappy from an overnight rain. The drivers side leaked a bit on to the hood.

Since I'm getting not even 190 miles per tank of gas I only have cleaned my windshield at the gas station.
Maybe after returning from a vacation to Hawaii I'd need to use them to get the dust off... Uh, I'm going to Travelocity!

When I take my car in for it's oil change, I'm going to mention the problem to them and see what they do for me. I'll keep you informed. Thanks.

Its simple science... when ever you have liquid coming out of a high pressure hose and then shut it off.. you will have droplets all over the place... good example is my toilet seat
