Default Still under warranty?

Just wondering if anyone knows what the warranty deal is. I want to do some stuff to my exhaust but remembered it may void my warranty depending what I do. Seeing how I bought almost a $1,500 warranty I'm really not willing to chance it. I was just wondering if anyone knows the specifics about this before I call a Ford dealership!

And if that link doesn't answer all your questions, this one will.
Magnuson Moss Warranty Act
(someone should make these two links a sticky)

Haw.... I figured if you didn't hit is... DonW would.

If I haven't learned ANYTHING in here - I have learned they can't void a warrentee!

I already used that on my BMW - they were giving me grief for not letting them change the oile, threw out that "we wont' fixt it if something goes wrong" Warrentee crap. and guess what.... I changed the oil myself... Later something on the engine broke and the fixed it no problems. COVERED! Even though they told me it wouldn't be if I didn't have them change my oil.

I had my new exhaust put on at the dealer where I bought the car. That way I don't have to worry about any issues they can blame on me later. It was a little more expensive but not much more. I considered the extra expense a "warranty" on possible problems in the future. They look and sound great too. Good luck!

Come on, PW... I won't invade hawgman's turf. He is the designated Magnuson Moss Warranty Act responder for all "will this void my warranty" posts.

My job is to identify those who post in the wrong Forum and politely redirect them.
