Default Question about painted louvers

Did your louvers come painted on just the exposed side or were they painted on both sides?Just wondering because my wife got me Roush louvers and hood scoop for Christmas but she wrapped them already and she said they were painted on exposed side only.Just wondering what the norm is,Thanks

My pair is only on the exposed side too, can't wait to install them on Christmas day... Are you installing yours yourself?

I hate the fact that most louvers are painted on the outside only. It looks ugly from the inside looking out. It would look unfinished and your passengers will notice this too. If I was stuck with louvers that were unpainted on the back side then I would definitely tint the quarter windows with the darkest tint available so I wouldn't notice it as much.

As long as there is no overspray nobody is going to notice the inside of the side window louvers. You will probably never have an adult back there anyway, will you?
Once they are on it is too dark to tell.

My new louvers from Wheelskin had no overspray but were not painted on the inside. That would double the cost of the paint, so it's probably not worth it unless you are building some kind of showcar.

I git my Roush louvers just a few months ago. Mine also were only painted on the exposed side. I also installed them myself, and with a little patience cutting out the templates, the install is a breeze.

And personally, I don't think they look bad at all looking fro the inside out. Obviously, its a matter of personal preference, though.

The louvers I installed were painted on the exposed side. I installed them also and it takes patience and a little time, it is well worth it.
