Default Passenger Window

On my 06 I noticed a problem the other day. When you open the doors the windows come down just a bit to let the air pressure release when you close them. However, my passesnger side goes down when you open it, but does not go back up when you close the door. Of course, I can use the window-up button to close it but if someone gets out on the side I have to wait until they close the door and finish rolling it up with the window-up button.
Any idea what switch/sensor might need replacing? Where would something like this be? Apologies if this is something that gets asked a lot....

I've never had that problem before. The passenger side door acts the same as the Drivers, but sometimes the auto up button doesn't work. If you still have warranty left on your 06, they'll fix it at the dealer at most likely no cost. GL

It's a common enough problem, but I haven't experienced it yet. There is a way to reset it, and it's been mentioned on these forums. It may be in the owners manual, or maybe someone else here will chime in on it.

Owner's manual - I'd give you the adjustment procedure but I don't have it in front of me. The feature is used to allow the door to close without hitting the window seal. The window seal overlaps the window. If the window didn't drop and you closed the door, the window would be sitting on top of the seal. Try opening and closing the door with the battery disconnected......

It worked fine until recently and just the passenger side. The driver's side works just fine still. I'll look to see if there is an adjustment procedure..

I think all you have to do is with the window in the upright position hold the button up for a couple seconds, you might have to put the window down all the way and keep holding the button down for a few seconds before you roll it up and hold it. Im not completely sure but im pretty sure that is how you reset the windows

P.S there are alot of forums like this if you search that could help

Here ya go, from the Manual;

Short drop glass (Front windows only)
In order to improve door efforts and sealing, your vehicle is equipped
with short drop glass. This feature lowers the glass when either door is
opened. The glass returns to its closed position when the door is closed.
Proper operation of the short drop glass requires that the windows be
calibrated. Though your windows will have been calibrated before
your vehicle is delivered to you, it is possible for the windows to
lose calibration. If a window loses its calibration, your short drop
feature will lower the window, but will not raise it again when the door is
closed. To re-calibrate the window, pull the switch up to raise the
window until it completes its travel and hold the switch up for 2
seconds. Another possible effect of lost calibration is that the feature
may not lower the window. To re-calibrate the window in this case, lower
the window until it completes its travel and hold the switch down for 2
seconds. Immediately after releasing the window down switch, pull the
switch up to raise the window until it completes its travel and hold the
switch up for 2 seconds. Perform Short drop re-calibration with
doors closed only. Re-Calibrating with doors open will cause the
window to continuously bounce back.

Thank you all. Yes, I broke out the manual last night and voila', there it is. Hold the button in the up position for 2 seconds after it gets to its upright position. I will do it today but I'm sure that will fix it.
