How much do they want for that Ford GT? I heard some lawyer in St. Louis is taking a dealer to court over one. The lawyer said that he signed contract with the dealer with the price to be determined. They lawyer said that the dealer told him $153K for the car and when the car arrived at the dealer, they want $225K for it. Needless to say, no court date is set yet.

 

That's smart, play a game of chicken with a lawyer. Considering he can represent himself for free, I would say he has the least to lose.

When I went to pick up my '05 GT last Saturday, they had a Ford GT sitting there. I was asking my dealer about it, and he said the sticker was $153,000 but the managers were marking it up $100,000. Thats right $253,000. They even had a lawyer come in and offer them $200,000 for it but they turned it down; if it doesn't sell in 30 days then they will sell it to the lawyer. And we thought the $3000-$5000 markup on the Mustangs was bad.
