Default Plenum Cover Bolts

Does anyone have info on what the part number is for bolts that hold the front of the plenum covers on? As I understand it, 2007's had these double-ended bolts where one end bolted into the intake and the other end slipped through the holes on the front of the cover. 2005-2006 needs these special bolts. Dealers don't seem to be able to help but I've found a pic that had the separate bag of two bolts. (See attached) Trouble is I can't make out the number on the package.

Any help would be appreciated.

Standby. I actually was able to find something using "Search". I don't know that I've gotten that lucky before.

Problem is, dealers STILL don't know what to make of the number. They say it's a valid part but not for my engine!

the link you posted is correct, and so is the dealer when he says the mounting hardware is not for your car; the two parts are the 07 throttle body studs and nuts.

thats why the 07 doesnt need them lol.

im sure the dealer will sell them to you.

are you guys taking about the screws in the front of it cover above the throttle body?
if you are doesnt the front of the cover slide in those with no nuts?
dekek with a 07 you shouldnt have to have the bolts that the guys with 05 and 06's have to have. the 07 and up ones already have them bc it is part of the appearance package that also comes with the rolled exhaust tips and hood scoop.
sorry for the questions. just tryin to clarify what you guys are really talking about.

I could install it without the bolts on the front. It would flop around a bit though with nothing to support it. Plus the rubber grommets on the front would look a bit odd.

I did finally get through to a dealer that would order them for me. $14. Should be in next Tuesday.

Hey buddy, give Midwest Auto Gear a call (they sell aftermarket plenum covers), they will hook you up, and they are right here in Pewaukee. Tell them I sent you, then they should be free, lol!!! I have done ALOT of advertising for them of course, and they are very appreciative.

Just go to your local hardware store and get two 7mm studs, washers and nuts. Remove the old bolts and insert the studs. Then, install the washers and nuts and tighten. The studs should be long enought to protrude through the nuts enough so that the plenum cover can slip over them but not so long that they look silly. When I did mine, I was able to adjust the studs to the point where they were flush with the edge of the rubber grommets on the Plenum cover. Here's a picture from when I had the plenum cover. Total cost was less then 25 cents including tax.

Hey back Stanman,

I didn't think of that but you're right. They could have helped me. Especially snce I shelled out the bucks to them for the matching fuel rail covers.

Too late though. I finally got someone at Hiller Ford to order them for me. Should be in Tuesday.

Thanks too to Odiaz. Looks good. On my wish list is a new intake elbow. Maybe for Father's Day.
