I have a 2008 gt stock H with cats...I dont want to go O/R pipes....I saw this on ebay...its the h pipe off of the gt500...Im sure it will have to be welded in but will it line up without my stock uxhaust with out problems...and will it change the tone of my exhaust...I have the pype violators right now but looking to change to borla stingers or gta's...not worried about hp..or will there be no change in tone at all...thanks for any help in advance...

It should be a little raspy and louder, not as deep!

I was under the impression the "X" pipe would make it more raspy...

IMO there is no point in changing to that. You already have an H-pipe, I wouldn't go through the trouble cutting and welding the pipes. It probably won't even have an effect on the tone. Save your money for some new axle-backs or get some high flow cats if you want to change the tone.

Looks like a Bassani X pipe. http://www.steeda.com/products/_enla...sani_xpipe.php I have the Bassani X pipe with stock cats and it's not raspy at all, it seems to mellow the exhaust note.

+1 - looks similar to Bassani's x-pipe, which itself is unique as far as x-pipe's go. I think the one above isn't the same, just similar.

I like my Bassani x-pipe a lot. It was a big fact in my choosing Bassani LT's, even though I had to buy another Bassani x-pipe to match the Bassani LT's.

Looks like bassani, could even be the magnaflow X/H pipe. My guess its the magnaflow X/H pipe. I know because I have that same unit as my mid pip. If you really want to change your exhaust note then go with the O/R Prochamber or a good set of AB. Just my .02...
