I installed a spyder shaft, and all I can say is that I didn't have any vibrations at all. I definately noticed a small improvement in acceleration, and there was much smoother clutch engagement from a stand still. I'm happy with mine.

I have the Spydershaft. I had it installed by a good Mustang shop and have never had any vibration issues. I also had the CAI and custom dyno tune done at the same time so its hard to say what the drive shaft change alone did for the car. I did notice the car seemed very much more responsive though. The lessoning of the rotational mass is a proven performance enhancer.
Using a shaftmasters on my setup. Had some vibration issues with the stock shaft and even a little with a factory/warranty replacement.
With the 1-peice aluminum, no vibes whatsoever, and I sont have to worry about exceeding the v6's 115 mph rating limit (the car's been up to 145 mph on a dyno with no issues).
As far as feel/results, maybe a little bit smoother, but it's not extremely noticable.

Joe, Ill let you take my car around the block and see if you can feel the difference. I have an aluminum 1-piece that was made for me by Inland Empire Driveline and I have no vibration issues, well, any issues for that matter. I love it. Not to mention how much lighter it is.
If you go with the new shaft, its not going to be a bad idea for you to look into an adjustable upper arm to adjust your pinion angle. I checked mine when I installed the 9", but I have a little different suspension setup, and with the stock arm, my angle was within spec. On the sportlines with a 1-piece shaft, you might want to look into an adjustable upper, WHICH I just so happen to have one laying around. haha. Anyways, I would say go for it. Just by changing out my stock for the aluminum 1-piece, I got rid of that annoying chatter the stock one makes. Anyways, you have my number if you want to talk more about it.

I have the 4" Shaftmasters and there was a definite performance difference. The car felt "lighter" on the highway, got up to speed much quicker, and the vibrations were gone. It was the only change I made to the car when I went to the track that weekend since my last track visit (unlike Wingman, I didn't have other work done at the same time, although I had been doing other performance mods) - and I set a new personal best that trip. It was at least 0.2 quicker (can't find the slip now). It was well worth the modification.
I have the JPC one piece aluminum driveshaft. I had vibrations when it was first installed and they rotated it and I haven't had any problems with the vibs since. You will definitely feel the difference, more power. I say go for it.
