im still N/A and with the recent mods and now with the tuner added,i cant get thru a gear with out sliding all over the place.I want to go bigger on my 20's and get a tire that has great traction, can someone recomend a good tire that will fit?I cant imagine the issues i will have when the turbo is all done.

Paul,
Im going with 295/40/20 and 245/35/20 here in the next months or so. Im not sure which company makes that size rear but I need that extra little bit with the side exhaust.

Do some suspension work and either ditch the 20's and get some tall sticky tires, or get tall sticky tires mounted on the 20's. I'd bet that having just over 3 inches of sidewall is not helping your traction.

I understand your pain. I can light the tires with the throttle alone at 80mph. I have about burned up the stock tires and am going with the tires I put on the last car. Nittos, I think the were envos. Autocross tires. Had about 90% of a drag radial but went around corners real well. Real sticky. A little road hum at 70 though. I think I am going to order another set for this car next week so that I can get at least half throttle down in second.

not sure if you can do a 40,thats almost 4.65" sidewall,it would add about 3" over all to your tire height.

315/35/20 is a pretty big tire also, not sure if they would clear, its 12.4 inches wide and 4.34 tall. Do they make a 315/30/20?
