Default How many miles to error

In preparation to sell my car later in the week (maybe), I pulled my C&L Intake and reprogrammed the car back to stock with my SCT programmer. Just out of idle curiousity, if I did screw it up in some way, how many miles would it take for the computer to error? I drove it a few miles to gas it up and aside from the performance difference, it seemed to run fine.

Not that I think I screwed it up in any way, but, anything is possible with me.

...Jim

I think it would have already thrown a code... what are you selling it for?

+1 it would have throne codes allready, but on the other hand, if it does throw some, just plug the sct in to diagnose it lol

Thanks, I went and drove it a good 20 mile loop, and it's all good.

I'm looking at some certified pre-owned BMWs. Bottom line, even with snow tires, the Mustang is not a good all season car, and I, unfortunately, need a good all season car.

I could try to buy a beater, but that just doesn't work in my situation either...

It's not the racer intake, and as soon as I'm sure it's going to go (not quite there yet), I'll have a pile of leftover parts for sale in the For Sale section (the intake and SCT w/ tunes assuming they can be sold in some way, the HIDs, the Sequential harness, some interior trim pieces and whatnot).

Thanks guys!

The C&L intake is designed to work without a tune, if I remember correctly. But why not just leave the correct tune on it?

I got them as a kit from Brenspeed, as far as I know, the Intake needs a tune. Since I pulled the intake, I needed to return it to the stock tune.
