unless you are in a hurry, just watch the forum classifieds and ebay. I snagged my Pro5.0 that was new in a sealed box from Pro5.0 for $110 delivered.

Yea im in no hurry. So the only bad thing i heard was MGW costs more and hurst has some rattling problems right? pro5.0 seems ok from what you guys say

ALL tr3650 shifters are going to feel "notchy" when you limit their throw to the extremes. My hurst was notchy and now my MGW is notchy. its a remote mount.

the cool thing about the MGW is the ability to swivel the arm around (360 degrees if needed!).

you can tailor the reach EXACTLY to your body mechanics.. that was enough for me to ditch the hurst.

you won't find any MGW's on craigslist, ebay etc. nobody will give up their mgw shifter. unless their car is wrecked.

the issue with the grinding into second gear isnt just a mgw, hurst, roush or pro5.0 problem...it is due to the fact that the shifter is remote mounted, and the fact that when you get on it the drive train does flex and causes the shifter to become slightly misaligned... i have the same problem with my Roush and i have purchased the k-member/torque limiters from CHEperfromance to try to help eliminate this problem... and to answer the OP i picked the Roush because i was able to drive a couple cars that had it in them when i was at the dealership when i bought my car and liked how it felt... and from what ive seen it is similar to a Hurst....

please let me know how that brace works out for you,i have awful grinding when at the track hitting second and sometimes third.

If you've got extra money to spend and would like a heavily customizable shifter, get the MGW.

If you're on a tighter budget or love the classic look, get the Hurst.

YEah i have looked everywere and cannot find one lol.
I am on a budget but i would rather wait "for the right one".

What is the purpose of the che torque limiters that will help with that grinding? how much are they? Is helping with that grinding the only purpose?

A CHE K-member brace and torque limiters will help hold the driveline steady, this will make 2-3 shifts much easier under heavy load.
