Default Ever Seen This???

I have a single car garage with epoxy floor that houses only the mustang...garage queen all the way...Saturday I went to start it and noticed "fur" on the floor???I looked under the hood and saw that ?something? had ?eaten? the padding that surrounds the battery. No traces, no footprints on the armoralled engine bay (car has 327 miles), just "eaten" battery surround??? WTF? Ford charged me 53.09 to replace...any ideas?

You have critters!!. Probably mice. Watch it!!! They'll eat the wiring up too and cause you bigger problems than just having to replace the battery cover. Get some moth ***** and spread them around the corners of the garage.

I got into my 71 Cuda one day (years ago) and noticed a giant hole in the shifter boot. Looking around, I saw a similar size hole in a McDonald's bag on the floorboard. A freaking rat had walked along the driveshaft, ate a hole in my shifter boot, sat down at the McDonald's buffet and escaped.

I just love the sound of those old fashioned mouse traps going "WHACK"! A bunch of mice had made a nest in me ex's Camry inside the intake box.

Peanut butter works better than cheese.

any food is a attractant IMO, if one wondered in from outside and gets killed in the trap, the other 70 near your house arnt smart enought to see dead mouse and run in fear. thell stand on the dead body and eat the food you put out. Get rid of any food in there, and dont leave anything in the trash.

peanut butter works great.

I'd never had mice until this year. Now I've caught 3 so far. I need to put some more traps out. I bought these decon "no touch no mess" traps. They seem to work great. Just put some peanut butter inside, twist, and trap is loaded. Then discard when trap is activated.

never had rats before this year, now that your trapping you caught more and more..... stop putting food out, just put traps in areas they come in.
