Whoa! What's with the defeatist attitude man!?!

I'm having my first kid in about 4 months, and I'll do whatever it takes to get him/her safe and secure in the Stang!

If I find a solution, I'll let everyone know!!!

My grand daughter loves the stang, actually I think she just loves the corsa's. But I take the car seat out after she visits on the weekend so I haven't noticed any seat marks, and she can't eat in the car. I'm going to try the hump thing, she's 4 and leaves shoe marks on the passenger side back seat all the time, besides she will probably be able to see better from the middle.

Oh Man...brings back memories but that is SO true! When I was looking to but a Mustang, I found one in Washington. The guy needed to sell it cause he had three kids now and they would not fit in the mustang.

But, if this is your only DD, then there are options here for you. Of course, another car is the best option so as to keep your Mustang CLEAN and free of Gummy Bears. :-)

My wife had no problem getting one to fix in the back seat on the passenger side using the anchors and latches. I have an '08. My 4 year old is on the tall side (95%) so the front seat has to be moved up a bit or else he'd have no legs. I've got a protective cover covering the back of the passenger seat for those foot prints.

I would imagine if someone had to sit in the passenger seat while my son is sitting in his, that person would probably be a bit uncomfortable or knees may touch the dash depending on how tall they were.

Snug the baby in the middle of the rear, it is fine. The passenger can recline and make eye contact with the little fella.

It's not fine to put a baby seat in the middle where it is not designed to hold a full size person or a little baby seat. Everyone who is doing this is taking a risk with their child and/or looking at there insurance not covering certain things because the seat was used improperly.

The fire Dept is not the Guru of child seat installations unless they are certified to do so. Just because they where the safety gear doesn't quailfy them to say yes or no. Any larger police department or especially any state highway patrol (I know the CHP does this with dispatchers and officers) will have people that are certified in how to put the seats in properly and will show how to do it. People who are certified go to a 2 week class and learn all the laws and methods for properly restraining the kids in the seats.
