Default FRONT END CLUNK

I'm getting front end clunk in my stang...............definitely sounds like suspension something. when i go over a bump, it makes a clunking noise; hard to explain.......it always kinda did it i guess, now i guess i'm just hearing it more? i've been lowered for about 8 months and it didn't suddenly start happening when i first put the lowering springs on. i'm almost positive it has nothing to do with that.

yup, sounds exactly like what I have. Try tightening the endlink bolts. I have to tighten mine every now and then. If the noise gets progressively louder with time, it would lead me to believe its the nut getting more loose. I just jack the front of the car up enough to get to the nut, its right behind the top of the tire. You will need two wrenches to tighten it though, one to hold the bolt, the other tighten. I pretty sure its an 8mm and an 18mm to get the job done.

You might try tightening the front end links mine had gotten loose and started to make the clunking noise that it made before I replaced strut mounts.

Try tightening the endlink bolt just behind the top of the tire. You can get access to it by jacking up the front side of your car enough that the wheel almost lifts from the ground. You will need an 18 mm wrench and an 8 mm ratchet to tighten it. My front end clunking is due to this, a quick tightening and the clunk is gone (for a while at least, going to try some blue loctite when I stop being lazy and pull the wheel off)

can you possibly get a pic of where it is? i'm going to try this fix but i'm not 100% sure what to look for.
