Default whats the difference

whats the difference in the slp loudmouth tips and just some regular chrome tips that you can buy at say pep boys? they dont look that much different other than the slp look a bit thicker. anyone have any technical knowledge about this?

not tech knowledge here, just guessing that the LM have some sort of thin packing within the tips that allow a small variation difference between that and regular tips. but once again just guessing. i have had both with xpipe, and the LM are a SLIGHT bit more mellow during normal accel, but sound the same at WOT

so do you think the slp is worth that much money or just buy some tips. what im wanting to do is run an o/r H with the pypes mid muffler and some slp loudmouth like tips. ive seen a guy on here who has this setup and i think it sounds amazing. just wondering if it would sound a whole lot different with the cheaper tips

get the loudmouths man. they are pretty cheap. but if you are wanting to run a pypes mm setup its all inclusive. tips, pipes, and mufflers.
