as you can see in the sig, i have an 08 gt w/ an oem gt500 spoiler in the beautiful ua paint code. i have thought about taking the spoiler off, but i don't want to "jerrry" rig anything. ie. fill holes,etc..i have looked at the prices of a new deck lid w/o a spoiler, and they are a little high....i am trying to achieve a spoilerless deck lid......no spoiler and no holes......aside ffrom just buying a spoilerless trunk lid, i have tried to find a stang w/o a spoiler and my color for some time;however, the only one i found willing to trade had a satellite(stock) attachment on the trunk....do any of you guys/gals have any suggestions????? i never liked the factory gt spoiler, and I have no idea why i bought the oem gt500 spoiler to replace it.....just want a spoilerless decklid.....willing to trade/buy/anything....any help is appreciated..

how much is the stock spoilerless one? i want spoilerless also, im just going to plug the holes though

I had my spoiler removed. Filled the holes and painted for $400...it was cheaper than getting a new trunk lid.

There was a link posted a few days ago to some place that had a new deck lid no spoiler for $285 or thereabouts.

if you want a temporary fix.. i picked up these nylon plugs from home depot for about 30c each and painted them with touch-up paint.

Thats what Im going to do, but Im going to see if I can grind down the tops to make them as thin as possible.

sorry sir but you paid way too much. Should of just got a carbon fiber trunk.
