Default PCM part number

I have to find my PCM part number for my 08 Mustang GT (made 4/08), and I have a good idea where it is, but I have to unbolt the PCM model itself to read it (around 20 or degrees outside with no heated garage). Does anyone have the PCM part number for a 08 GT, or are they all different?

Please let me know.

why would you need a new one with a 2008? if your getting a tuner and need the 4 digit code on the pcm then it is on the top of the unit on a white sticker. (if your looking down at the motor it is on the pass side front)

Ditto shoeys comment. Did you fry your PCM or are you in need of the ID# for a tune? If you fried it, I'd suspect it should be covered under warranty (unless you did something really bizarre).

I need it for a tune. Sorry for being so vague.

no worries. on the pass side front of the engine area. there is a silver box with a 4 digit code on top. that is what the tuner needs. i think it is right next to the battery. let us know when you find it.

I found that one, but FRPP needs the part number itself :/

I was wondering if there is a easier way to get it besides taking out the PCM in ~20 degree weather :/ (I so wish I had a heated garage)

Well, I called FRPP, and they looked up everything off the VIN (LOL) so I didn't have to do anything :P

Thanks all for helping
