Interior Dash Kits
Does anyone have the brushed aluminum? I've been wondering if fingerprints and whatnot are more noticeable on the aluminum or the CF kits pictured here. Would I just have to hang a towel to wipe the console down everytime I get out for the urethane coated CF kits? Are the brushed aluminum harder to clean?
I hope this dovetails with the OP's intent.

I have the brushed aluminum kit. Fingerprints do not show up and it stays pretty clean. However, sometimes the sun hits it and it can be blinding.
I never thought about the cleaning aspect of things...I was looking into getting a brushed aluminum as well. Unless you have kids or very "touchy" passengers, it shouldn't be too much of a problem, I think...I hardly ever touch my dash unless its to dust it and thats about it but, people with this kind of set-up..Please chime in
Be sure and use 3M 4298 Adhesion promoter to clean the surfaces where
the 3M tape will be adhered to. One hot day and your dash trim pieces
could come loose and wind up adhered to your carpet. Any foreign substances
on the dash and the 3M tape wont adhere very well.
I've always loved this one and I want to get it but compared to other mods around the same price like stripes or hamonic balancer I cant justify it yet .

Finally got mine in this weekend. Had a last minute epiphany during install. Take the speedo surround out before installing. After you heat the backing up, the pieces are very floppy. What test fits easy when it's cold, doesn't work so well warm. I started fitting it and the damn thing flopped over and stuck to the chrome ring. I almost couldn't get it off. It made perfect sense when the light bulb went off. Sometimes I don't know how I make it through the day.
