Default Twin turbos!!!!

Alright guys i was getting 4.10's put on today, but after a friend told me about a twin turbo kit that was being sold, i thought " Why keep dumping money in performance that will not get me to my goal, might as well stop spending money here and there on gears n such, and just get the twins? I could get the kit with twin 62mm turbos and the kit has everything i need except injectors, fuel system, and the turbo filters. My question is, how much would 60lbs injectors, gt500 fuel system cost me?

Close to $800 for the pumps and injectors.

There are several twin kits for our cars and they use turbos that are a little smaller, around 57 or so. I'm saying the 62s will spool really slow but my first thought would be they wouldn't be optimal for a stock motor.

That's what i was thinking, that they would be slow spooling up. I just wonder if i could somehow trade someone that wants bigger turbos for their smaller ones, most people with higher goals would probably want that. Im so confused what to do about this twin turbo situation, I just do not want to keep spending money on other mods, just want F/I already.

If your concerned about cost you can get a kb bap and some used 39lb injectors. I find these injectors everywhere for sale for around $100-$150. The 60lb will be overkill on a stock shortblock so unless you plan on upgrading the 39lb should be plenty.

Yea, 39#'s and a 40A KB Boost-A-Pump will get your fuel needs taken care of. You can buy both new for under 500$ I believe, or find some good deals on some used stuff (If you can't find a REALLY low mileage set of injectors, it'd be better to just get new ones, they're the cheaper of the 2). You'll probably want a boost controller with that, make sure you get a better MAF, or a MAFia too.

That is if you're going to stay stock motor and just use a safe low boost/~450 rwhp tune. But if you're going to do that, twins would be a bit of an over-kill in place of a single. Under low boost, both would spool just as fast, or close to it. A base single uses 60-62 mm turbos, I think going with a twin 62mm would be slower than that.
EDIT: Just saw that you're from Houston, I know a guy down there running a twin system mounted under the car, he's using something like 52mm turbos or smaller on a forged stroker engine. Just to give you an idea of proper turbo to power rating ratios.
Idk, you might know him, it's a white GT with "Turbocharged" emblems under the GT fender badges, he's a pretty cool dude, comes up to Dallas for his tuning.

Yeah i don't think i can run twin 60mm on a stock block. The guy that had the kit had a built engine, but i was maybe hoping to trade for smaller turbo. But now that i think about it im going to have to get something that will be better for my stock block. This is my DD so i need something resonable
