Default Quick help with 2008 Bullitt pricing

Hi all,

I have a shot at a brand new 2008 fully loaded Bullitt for $32,100 which the dealer claims is invoice.
I think this is a good price even if it isn't invoice but I'm not sure.
Does anyone know if this is truly invoice pricing and if it's not, is it still a good deal?
The MSRP is $34,700.
The only problem is that they are trying to hit me hard on my trade: $5,909 negative equity!
I haven't had my old Stang in over a year so it's making it tough but I am trying to use my brain and not my heart.
What makes it even tougher is that I drove it yesterday and oh my God what a difference from my '07 GT automatic!
So anyhow, any help, suggestions, advice, etc... would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Lance

Thanks, the dealer showed me what looked like an invoice but that could be easily manipulated.
I looked up the VIN but it can't be found...I guess because the car has never been titled.
I have tried some sites like you mentioned but they aren't accurate because there is no way to list dealer installed options, dealer bought accessories, remaining ESP plans, or aftermarket items.

Thanks,
Lance

That seems pretty high to me... I doubt there is only a $2500 dealer markup.

My GT/CS had a sticker of $32,100 but the actual dealer invoice cost was like $27,100 if I remember correctly...

Just what I was thinking, however, even if it isn't invoice...is it still a good price?
There were only 7000 made...well, 7700 if you include Canada LOL!

The price seems a bit high, especially since the 2010's will be out soon. Even though it's brand new it will be a 2 year old model.

Personally I wouldn't spend that much on the Bullitt... especially since you're essentially tacking on another $5900 to that price tag because of your negative equity. I just did a quick look on EBAY and there are 3 new Bullitts for sale under $30k...

What was the big difference from your 2007 model? If it was just the power, then you can get a normal GT and add 3.73s and CAI and have more power than the Bullitt.

The Bullitt does have a little nicer suspension, but you can still upgrade a normal GT and be cheaper than the Bullitt...

But if it's exclusivity you're looking for, the Bullitt might be your best bet... I've only seen two on the road ever. But they look too much like V6s for my liking.

It probably just comes down to what you're willing to spend and what you desire most in the car.

I wouldn't bother with the Bullitt. Get your GT tuned, and put some 3.73 or 4.10 gears and it will feel just as fast if not faster than the Bullitt. I think the Bullitt's are over-rated as a performance upgrade to the GT.
