Default strut and shock question

can i change my struts and shock for some adj. ones without changing the springs? i dont want to change my cars height because i have a ground effects kit and i am low enough. i want to change something on the susp. to help me at the strip. and thought this would be a good idea, was i right?

You do not have to change your springs. The adjustable shocks will help with weight distribution at the track.
