to be quite honest, from the sound clips I have heard using a single GT take off muffler sounds nice. It's also CHEAP ! a guy has them on ebay, taken off of new GTs that are to be converted to Saleens. Single exaust $30 +25 shipping both for $45 +39 shipping.

i have true duals with dynomax mufflers and couldn't be more happy. awesome acceleration and not much resonance at highway speed. cost $140 total at local shop.

I had my dealer install true dual Mac's on my V6 and I love the deep, throaty sound when I am accelerating. They are not too loud when you are sitting at the redlight and not so noisey you can't carry on a conversation while you are driving. You have to cut the bumper to make them work which is one reason I wanted the dealer to do mine. It balances the rear view of the car to me having the twin chrome tips sticking out. A good investment in my opinion.

Stckman,

Cool car.. I'm also interested in doing this... I guess I'd like to go true duals but am wondering what the costs were... Cool website also... I'm in web dev also but not in the ga type of stuff. Architect type. Like your work..

140 bucks? you're kidding me???? did they cut out your bumper or do

NCMustangMan,

What was the damage at the dealer?
