And you're doing some dragstrip testing.. excellent.

The ARH's are nice pieces. I just got the new 5.0 mustang mag in the mail a few days ago and they did an S197 LT test utilizing the Anderson MS test mule and seven different LT headers. To my surprise the MAC LT's made the most power! A bit more than Kooks and JBA's in third place. They didn't test the ARH's but they seem to be the same design as kooks.
The ARH and kooks are not close design at all actually. Kooks is a midlength LT and ARH makes a true full length header. Both are good setups and produce great gains.

As mentioned, the test car is far from what the majority of people have on this forum. Kinda dissappointing actually with the choice as the results for N/A car would be more of an interest to many of us.

Peak gains and average gains are too entirely different measurements IMO. What i liked about the article is it gave both measurements. The average gain is more the "area under the curve" type of thing and to many people would be more interesting and helpful when making a decision. I actually would have like to see all the dynos on one graph and compare them. Same with torq curves. This would tell a far better story than "hey at 6300 i gained 35hp." I will agree it was a good read but i really think they could have made this one of the best articles for this cars generation if they would have included some of the above mentioned.

There is some speculation on another board why ARH was not included in the test about it being because who has sponsors rights with the magazine and that ARH results would make said sponsors look bad. Not saying that is true but many people will state without a doubt ARH is the best out there and their cars prove that too.

I will say kooks and ARH are leading the way on this for sure. They cost more but the results are consistently at the top also. Cant say i know of one person who is dissappointed with either purchase, and at $1300+ for a set, that is saying alot IMO.

I agree with Matt...
I like to see a sure recipe of a NA 400hp 3V...
For cheaper than supercharging, of course.
