Default Garage work

2 quick questions: How do most people do all the standard bolt on work (ie exhaust, wheels, brake calipers)? Using a couple of jacks? using a lift at a local garage, or using those ramps that you drive up on?

Also, When people get the colored brakes...are those the calipers or the pads that are colored. If they are the calipers, do people just paint em? Or do they order new brake pads?

Thanks in advance for the help for a rookie...

I can answer the first question as it relates to my axle-back exhaust... this was halfway through (SLP on the left, stock on the right):

I installed my axle backs in my driveway ..It wouldnt have taken as long with a good jack, but still managed with a few hand tools, time and a little patients ..

The colored brakes is just painting the caliper with high temp paint.
