Default automatic shifter help

So I am absolutely in love with my new 09 GT! Its less then one month old, and sofar I have had racing stripes painted on and a new alpine 505 installed. It truely is becoming everything that I would possibly want in a new car. That being said, my only disapointment is the shifter. As it stands, the plastic caps on the auto shifter are loose....and I cant say just how much this bugs me. I have been spending my time scouring the net trying to find replacement automatic shifters and the plastic cap replacements, but nothing thus far. I do intend on getting the billet caps, but while they are loose *wiggle freely*, I dont want to.

Anyways, please let me know if there is a fix out there. Epoxy is a last ditch effort, as the potential for a real mess is not an option.

Thanks

Take it to your dealer! It should be under warranty and should be fixed at no cost to you.

I've never heard of that problem...

But then I've never heard of someone under warranty NOT taking it to the dealer to get fixed under warranty either!

Are you referrring to the buttons on the shifter? I know my OD button rattled. I used some thin foam rubber with sticky tape on the back...cut a small strip about 1/16 wide, 1/2 in long and shoved it in gap between the button and button housing. Rattle gone.
