Ya, this is where working at Goodyear comes in handy, not just for the X-plan
Hes still hasnt finished talking about it 15 min later. kid says, "I cant believe its automatic. Youll be able to do better ones in the Stick right?" "Those tires must me real hot!"
I Havent done a brake torque burnout in stick in 8 years, Need wide shoes from what I remember. This was in my 84 Celica. but Im sure I can get a nice burnout off. Theres also dumpin the clutch, but thats not the same effect. Will be doing a video of the T-bird before I slap the for sale sign on it.

Don,
Glad to see you keeping up with changing your picture every so often and getting more adventurous in your old age (hehehehe). Love that video you made. Reminds me one night after a wedding reception that I went to. Had a few draft Bud Lights, so I was feeling pretty good but not too good. Me and my buddy go in the car to leave and you know there are always a few of those Ford bashers around. I took the car a little down the road because of alot of people and other cars around. Stopped the car, put it in 1st gear, revved it up to 3g and dumped the clutch to see what it could do. Well I layed 2 nice strips of rubber about 100 feet long. Had to let up on it since there was a slight curve in the road and didn't want it suddenly grab and launch me into the creek. Then I took it to the next road over across the field and dumped the clutch again. Another long set of tracks but this time the rev limiter kicked in. Will have to try that again, but this time put it in 2nd gear and rev to 5g to keep going. No need to brake torque these babies, they have plenty of power.
This car will corrupt the most innocent person. Even my girl friend goes around laying rubber and her daughter told on her when she did it.
