I want to find a subtle, easy way to visually section out about two inches of the rear quarter panel, as I think the car is good except it looks a bit heavy in the butt.

Saleen Parnelli Jones Edition 19x9/10 wheels powder-coated black
Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 275-35 front and rear
GT takeoff rear spoiler/wing I never got around to putting on the black convertible
FRPP M-5230-GTA mufflers painted black with caliper paint
Foglight covers from American Muscle come off with a suction cup
Lower grill from Silver Horse Racing, two-minute installation
Grill pony cover from an eBaY vendor, white, painted black with semi-flat paint

Ever run that car at the track with the 75 shot? Times?

I didn't have it ready before the track closed for the season last fall. I'll run it this spring and report the results. My tires might be a problem, since I'm still on the stock Perellis. I'm going to add a stiffer rear sway bar before I go. That should help a little with weight transfer.

Cool thanks!

Have you used it at all? If so what does it feel like?

I started with the 50 shot nozzle (I think NOS rates at the crank, others rate at the wheels). Anyway, that was nice and definitely a performance boost, but not the kick in the pants you want out of a power adder.

It's tremendous from a dig with the traction control off. Once the nitrous kicks in the tach goes straight to 6k rpm in a blink and like that the car is doing 80 mph. My tires spin, not just chirp, they spin, and the car hook ups and takes off. Nitrous is rated in hp, but they should really measure it in torque, when the system hits you instantly have 100+ lb ft of torque.

Check out this article. It's a 5 speed auto like mine with the same kit. Otherwise bone stock. 347 rwhp and 454 lb ft!

Anyway, compare that to a very conservative blower like the whipple kit Ford Racing sells...335 rwhp and 309 lb ft. I'm not trying to make any statements about supercharger vs. nitrous. I'm just saying here that nitrous is a good bang for your buck. Obviously, someone could crank up the boost on a supercharger.

Takes my breath away.

From a roll it's still impressive, but less so, which is true for any power adder. I mean, you look behind you and all the cars are way back there. It's just the sensation of speed is slightly numb in an S197 for me. 80 mph feels like you're doing 50 mph!

I should be well within the tolerances of the engine, probably no more than 395 or 400 hp at the crank. I'm more concerned about the enormous torque the system produces and it's impact on transmission life over time. I hope my 5r55s can take it!
