I have the DNX-7120 and it's awesome. Got it on Amazon for like $800. It was fairly easy to install with a dash kit, hooked it up to my Sirius and got the ipod adapter. Easy fix to watch DVDs on the fly, and fairly easy interface despite what some people tend to say. The Garmin feature is great with free updates available. The 8120 is the eXcelon model I believe, and should be overall fairly close to what I have. I'd say go for it if you can.

Well, I think the 7120 is the same thing more or less according to Crutchfield, just a couple more options.. So is there any chance to see some pictures of it installed? I really don't like the idea of giving up my 6 disc but I really want a nice touchscreen/nav/dvd unit... I just can't see paying over a grand either. I think this is something I'm gonna have to gradually save for instead of just throwing the dough down. It fills the Shaker void completely I imagine ?? also, I've never done any type of electronics install so is it plug and play or requires modification?
