Default Cold Air Intake

I just ordered a cold air intake off ebay but was looking at it more and i dont even think it would work. Looks like the pipe is off but maybe the picture just makes it look wrong. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3AIT&viewitem= Anyway another question is are you feeling any power difference with them and throttle response, and also a different tone in the exhaust, I have Pypes straits.

IDK wtf kind of mustang intake that is but I would cancel your order. The MAF area looks way too small. Go with CnL or JLT, Steeda, those are top dawgs for intakes right now. Yes to increased power, throttle response, and a deeper growl at WOT.
PS. One more reason why Ebay has such a bad rap now.

Why would you order a piece off eBay then look more into it? Makes absolutely no sense.

Even if it fits, a CAI w/o a tune won't gain you much if any RWHP. You also run the risk of throwing a CEL w/o a tune.

CEL=Check Engine Light.
The computers in these cars are very sensitive to air/fuel changes and will go into failsafe, killing your performance. Cancel your ebay order, then browse around these forums for a week and take in as much as you can. Then, order something new.

I bet that is just a stock photo of the CAI.

I have to agree with the others, don't try to skimp when your buying a CAI for our cars. Just cancel your order if you can and wait for a C&L to show up on the classifieds.

Your going to have to replace the CAI you ordered anyways when you start making more power....
