shifting thud
I am not sure whats going on or it could be just be me, but virtually every time I shift I feel a thud in the back, is this the two piece drive shaft kicking around?
If it is, is there anyway to solve it besides switching over to a solid drive shaft?
Please let me know - thanks!

Mine does it too, sometimes. I think as the two piece driveshaft gets some miles on it, it loosens up and starts making a little noise. If it's real pronounced you might want to drop it and check the u joints. I looked at them and they look like they have to be machined in...thanks Ford

I discussed the issue in depth with Seth at Brenspeed. The vibration problems are ALWAYS with the less expensive drivelines. They have never had a problem with any Dynotech, (rated to 900 HP) No screwing around with installation, direct bolt on. I could not be happier, as I said it made my car TOTALLY different, smooth, tight, positive shifts. (manual trans.)

Also, is a loop required or no?
