Well I got my first speeding ticket in 10 years between Vegas and LA this weekend [sm=bustedsign.gif]
I've been pretty lucky over the years making that trip cause I know where they all hide out but when he pulled me over I was only doing 78? and scratching my head.
I dropped the window down for him to say "Our aircraft tagged you going 90 in a 70, license and registration please"... Aircraft? as I stuck my head out the window, this guy was in no mood to give me a break.
What made this a little more bearable as he was handing me my ticket he said
"Nice car! let's keep it under 80 huh".... yah right!

At leased it wasn't my Suburban, that would have pissed my off! lol

I just got a ticket the other day myself. DPS in phoenix pulled me over said I was doing 90+ on the freeway (65). He screwed up though by telling me his Vascar comp. was not calibrated right. He was basing it on how fast he had to go to catch up to me. (115) I,m going to fight it since there's no proof.

 

sucks dude. but.. it happens to the best of us. I got pulled over doing double the speed limit.(130mph) got a summons to go to court, got off with a 100 dollar fine and 2 points.
on a side note, your car looks great, I have the same louvers, is that a ducktail spoiler you have on the back? if so where did you get it? thanks

Yeah I am lucky, I was goofing off with a new 05' "Z" most of the trip doing 110 to 130mph, He probably would have put me in the back of his car for those speeds knowing Nevada cops. [sm=smiley18.gif]

How was the "Z" in comparison?

 

Were you driving to Vegas or leaving Vegas?

I'm willing to put money on the leaving.

I've heard from some, as well as observed myself, that they never ticket on the way to Vegas, but they hit you on the way out. It would be bad for business to ticket you on the way in, and we know it's all about money.


EDIT: Congrads on the wall mounting, but they look even better when you have a 100+ one framed on your wall.

 

davidmac12: The "Z" is very fast, it's in our realm according to MoterTrend Mag but I'll tell you what, 4th gear doing about 120 not a chance! he'll stay in you rear view mirror trying to catch up.
Other than highhigh speeds he was matching my every move.

2Stang: I live in Vegas and got nailed coming home on a Sunday morning.
There is so many people coming to Vegas on the weekends that the highway patrol nabs them racing here. It's the California HP that hits them before they hit that Nevada border! They could care less about Vegas revenue, lots of money heading out of town[sm=loser.gif]
