What do you think of this shop...Am I being too picky??
I called to get estimates for parts and labor to install 4.10 gears in my GT. I didn't go into any detail when asking. When they called me with the price ($700 - Kinda high, but it is a Ford Dealership) they never mentioned new bearings. When I aked about them, they said they planned on reusing the old ones because I had an '08 and they were still new.
I am wondering if they know what they are doing or if I'm being too picky. (I will have them put in new bearings.) What do you guys think? |
Im not using new bearings and I have an '08 as well... I think you will be fine with the bearings you got... is that cost of the gears and install kit?? I got my FRPP gears for 155 shipped and 45 dollar install kit and was quoted 300 for install... so its your call man... I'd save 200 and buy them online and install kit and find another shop.... JMO
