My car is making a creaking sound coming from the front end, I can only hear it when almost at a complete stop, and when I take off. Anyone have an idea what it could be?

 

Anyone have any thoughts?

Strut bearing replacements on Mustang built before 4/8/2005




Not sure if this pertains to you, but it fixed my problem.

 

Did you have a poping noise or a creaking noise? Mine doesn't pop. I have aftermarket Shocks and Struts so they probably won't do anything about it if it was.

I don't really hear it while turning but it's pretty close.

 

A lot of people seem to have a problem w/ the stock strut mounts once they disassemble everything to install new struts/springs. The GT500 and Steeda mounts are popular replacement pieces.
