Well, a blown VCT Solenoid finally gave me the opportunity to pull the damn trigger (so to speak) and have Comp's NSR Stage 2 cams AKA "***** Thumpr's" installed. My tuner, being a sadistic and evil bastard, called me today and allowed me to listen to the car before telling me that it would be Thursday/Friday before he could get the car tuned on the dyno.

First impressions, it sounds absolutely rank as hell folks (and that is a good thing). Definitely much more aggressive IMO than typical Thumpr's or Hot Rod Cams. Hopefully I will see the results on the damn dyno (we are hoping for 30+ HP at the wheels based on results from other cam upgrades). Fortunately I had a baseline number run just prior to the Cam installation, and will get new numbers posted later in the week, as soon as my favorite sadistic bastard gets them to me. He also promised me a video of the car with sound, which I will post to this thread as soon as I have it. I have great hopes for this combo as I have almost all of the supporting mods and am adding the 4.10's to the mix at the same time, here is hoping against disappointment.

In any case, the brief audio exposure via cell phone had me excited to the point where I felt compelled to post. I will post video and Dyno numbers later this week as soon as I get them.

5SPD07GT - Actually I looked at the results (from my tuner) for both the FRPP Hot Rod Cams and the Comp Thumpr cams before making my decision. These cams are "advertised" to make even bigger gains above 4700RPM which was the deciding factor. I am willing to accept the low-end torque loss for more HP where it counts on race day (I hope).

bolivianpimp/ravekennels - I will post the vid as soon as I get it from my tuner. He is taking the video today and tuning it on the Dynometer tomorrow and Friday.
